![]() ![]() ![]() On other Windows devices you open the Ondrive app. This may take a big while (two days for my 5000+ books: see Restrictions above to understand why). Onedrive will sync the whole Calibre library to the cloud. When moving is finished exit Calibre and Resume syncing (if you paused it) or restart Onedrive.Depending on the number of books this may take a while but you can monitor progress. Choose Move library to a new location and select your local Onedrive folder. Start Calibre, click the Calibre button on the ribbon and choose Switch/create library.Make at least one copy of your Calibre Library, preferably on an external disk.First pause syncing on Onedrive or exit it completely Don’t kill me if it doesn’t for you I use Microsoft Onedrive on the laptop and tablet, and Foldersync and Calibre companion on my phone.Ĭaution: never change something in Calibre while Onedrive can sync. I do use it a lot for audiobooks while at home, as it has good speakers, and I get tired of earbuds sometimes. This works for me. I have an 8" tablet, but I don't use it very much for reading. If I'm reading a printed book, I estimate that by looking at where my bookmark is. Personally, I don't really care about anything other than percentage. But if you know the total number of pages in whatever format you care about, you can use percentage to calculate fairly easily, even in your head, if you don't need the exact page. So, what are page numbers? The pages of the original book? Do all books have the same page numbers? For an ereader, unless it's a PDF file, the page numbers vary dynamically, so to me, percentage is more useful. My philosophy is the best reader is the one you have with you. I have a Kindle, but I don't really use it very much - I always have my phone, and it's not bad as an ereader, imo, with an HD screen and the right background color. ![]()
